It is an unfortunate fact of life that historical works which question officially established orthodoxy are only accidentally published by major book producers. In our era of political correctness, more realistically known as craven and servilely compliant behavior, the vast majority of works found on the shelves of national bookstores are written by authors who wish to have their work published and therefore slavishly follow the dictums set forth by those who control an increasingly consolidated American print media.

The average national chain book outlet is packed with a plethora of large-print bodice rippers and glossy photo books dealing with geography, old aircraft, doll collecting, dead movie stars and appealing baby animals. The history sections of these literary soup kitchens are crammed with reprints of entirely safe subjects, almost all of which are so bland and innocuous as to be nothing more than literary custard. The frantic determination of publishers and retailers not to offend anyone under any circumstances has resulted in a profound lack of progress in uncovering and bringing important historical truths to a mass audience.

Even after the fall of world communism from the world stage, there are few books published critical of its practice and practitioners. There are two reasons for this regrettable fact. First, most academics, who have the easiest entree into the offices of publishers, are liberals with amazingly similar worldviews and none of whom are hostile to the theories of Messers Marx and Engels. Second, the universal dedication to the theory of political correctness has ushered in an age of quivering cowardliness by the publishers themselves. Terrified lest they might offend any political or religious entity that might voice objections to what the entity could personally consider an offending subject, they print bland books which recycle old, safe themes by writers who have a vested interest in keeping the historical status quo entirely secure.

A writer, for example, who has firmly endorsed the view that President Roosevelt had no prior knowledge of the impending Japanese air attack on the U.S. naval base at Pearl Harbor, would view any refutation of his pet thesis as tantamount to treason and would expend a great deal of effort to either deny the revisionistic arguments or to attack the author of them.

Bookshelves bulge with tales of the worker¹s paradise created by Stalin, but there are almost no references to the bloodbaths he initiated. Next to those titles are huge stacks of the latest monthly book on the holocaust, next to an even larger stack of books dealing with the psychopathic cruelty of all Germans in general. These books only sell to a very limited audience but their appearance in large numbers gives the false impression that such titles have wide general interest and an even wider sales range.

Further complicating the search for historical truth is that books concerning the latter two subjects are guaranteed to find an eagerly sympathetic audience with most American and British book reviewers and editors. Works containing more realistic depictions of the holocaust are ignored and their authors victimized by smear campaigns, should the books have any degree of accuracy, or total silence if their thesis cannot be refuted.

Much of this response is not due to ideology of the critics but rather, to the entirely acceptable premise that no commercial venture tolerates anything that would minimize its profits.

While orthodox views of wars from the American Revolution to the Gulf War are regularly lavished with high praise in publications such as the New York Times, critical examinations of those events usually go begging for attention.

One recent book, a winner of many in-house prizes, was purported to be an account of a Jewish child from the Baltic region who spent his formative years in a series of Nazi death camps. After laurels were heaped upon the book and its author, it was discovered that the writer was not Jewish, had never been in a camp of any kind and was far too young to have participated in the hecatombs of the Second World War. The book was published and extensively promoted in the United States even though those facts had come to light before it was first published in Europe .

The journey to historical truth is a long and exhausting one, and writers searching for truth are further handicapped because it takes a great deal of time and effort to research and write such books. Genuinely serious historians who do not write to an idea, take on a task which is far more complicated, and because of the political correctness factor, are far less likely to be accepted by a mainstream publisher than the generally ideological and plagiarized fictions which are inaccurately called history by their writers and publishers.

While there is still great interest in the Second World War in general, and Hitler in particular, the historical playing field is so tilted that there is but one direction for writers to run. The steady, and seemingly unstoppable, downhill course has encouraged and rewarded sophistry at the expense of facts and truth.

However, there very often is too much of a bad thing and the boy who persisted in shouting about non-existent wolves was eventually eaten by them. And every few years, even though it seems to be by accident rather than design, the search for historical truths wins a hearing in the public arena. “The Bell Curve,” published in 1994, contained convincing detail that empirically proved class structure and IQ test scores are intimately linked. Somehow, it broke through the protective screens and highly negative criticisms of knee-jerk liberal reviewers, and reached the higher rungs of the national best-seller lists.

However, it was quickly followed by several rapidly prepared works of a more politically acceptable view which claimed it is actually not IQ which matters but “emotional intelligence,” or more graphically “street smarts” which is really the important factor in sociological and economic development. This specious and predictably dimwitted argument entirely missed the point the authors of “The Bell Curve” made, namely there is indeed a well-documented and proven connection between class and intelligence. Socially correct writers have a standing aversion to inconvenient facts and lack the courage to critically examine their own prejudices.

A best-selling work by British author Colin Simpson about the sinking of the Lusitania in 1914, correctly attributed the rapid sinking of the passenger liner, containing many neutral Americans, to the explosion of her cargo of a quarter million pounds of illegal explosives. The book was greeted by outrage in official England and a book in response was hastily cobbled together by two Stanford University instructors. The authors claimed that the sinking was due entirely to Teutonic barbarity and coal dust. This defense was necessary because the orthodox point of view was that Churchill would never have indulged in such terrible behavior as to permit the loading of a quarter million pounds of high explosives onto a passenger ship and knowingly permit her to sail into an area where German U-Boats were known to be operating, and to compound this by ordering her escorts withdrawn. But the facts, as stubborn and inconvenient as they often are, show he did.

It is an established fact that at least 80% of the American public believes that the assassination of President Kennedy was the result of a conspiracy of some type and not the aberrated actions of the lone gunman so frantically supported by officialdom and the so-called mainstream media.

In 1993, Gerald Posner authored “Case Closed.” In this work, he slavishly presented and promoted, in toto, the official government version of Kennedy¹s assassination as accomplished and immutable fact. Unlike the large number of books chronicling various conspiracy theories, Posner¹s book received high and frequent praise from the media because he trumpeted the version of events agreed upon by the government and the print media. Fortunately for historical accuracy, the effort sold very badly.

Posner followed this disaster with another book, again setting forth and supporting the official version, on the assassination of Martin Luther King, Jr. Like the Kennedy work, it too was trumpeted by the media as being the brilliant final word on a painful subject and like the Kennedy book, it too sold badly.

In general, it might be said with some accuracy that unautographed copies of officially approved and sponsored history books are considered rare in the used book market.

In spite of, or more likely because of, constant assaults by writers acting as unofficial governmental public relations outlets on their intelligence, the American public has grown to distrust their government and the media, and its public-relations firm.

In the very rare occurrence when a controversial book that deals with official misconduct or disastrous error is published by a mainstream printing house, it is never quite believed until officially denied by Washington officials. The axiom is that the higher the level of the deniers, the greater the degree of belief.

Canadian writer James Bacque wrote “Other Losses” in which he made an excellent case for the complicity of Gen. Eisenhower in the death by disease, starvation and neglect of tens of thousands of German prisoners of war. His book was followed by a work by Stephen Ambrose, a fierce and well-paid defender of the Allied Supreme Commander. Ambrose tried to refute Bacque¹s thesis, but did so by editing a tome of great moral outrage, almost as if he was trying to defend himself from the accusations, rather than searching for historical truth.

The facts, which are available in numerous official archives, tend to strongly support Bacque¹s basic thesis, if not every detail of it, and it must be of some satisfaction to the author and those who hunger for historical truth that his book sold out far more quickly than his critic¹s works did.

The law of vested interest is often paramount in the production and marketing of historical works.

There have been several medical anomalies commented upon in the media recently.

One is the early onset of puberty in American children and the others deal with a huge surge in Alzheimer’s Disease and autism in young children. The first one, a shockingly early onset of puberty, is quickly laid to rest. It is caused entirely by the heavy use of grown hormones in beef and chicken so beloved by the American agricultural industry. There is nothing the public can do about this, at least under the current administration, because there is a great deal of money to be made hastening the growth rates of edible farm animals and a good deal of this money goes straight into the gigantic pockets of our Congressmen. You can forget doing anything about that one.

The other two are a different matter. The manuscript of a forthcoming book on the secret domestic activities of the CIA has shown that a branch of the CIA, under the direct control of DCI Allan Dulles, was deeply interested in controlling the minds of others and to facilitate this completely lunatic program (which has cost the U.S. taxpayers many billions and is still very much alive) various drugs and chemicals were either given to unsuspecting targets or, even worse, put into the water systems of several cities like San Francisco and Detroit or, even more charming, sprayed into the air.

These additives were various drugs, mostly from two Swiss chemical houses, and the nutties at the CIA thought that just maybe a combination of several of them, though thoroughly untested on anyone, even lab rats, might help the CIA to control the minds of others. Another experiment equally mad, consisted of subjecting unknowing and easily missed subjects like run-way youths, prostitutes or county jail inmates, to bursts of microwaves. Unfortunately, the use of these microwaves did little to control anyone but it did cook their brains and other internal organs.

Although President Nixon ordered the now-notorious MK-Ultra programs of the CIA to be immediately halted and their structures disbanded in 1973, the projects simply went underground and are still at work, spraying, injecting and scattering seeds of mental disruption throughout the land and unto all the inhabitants thereof.

Extensive medical studies have shown no known reasons for the eruption of Alezheimer’s or autism but these can be much more easily explained by the injection of dangerous, mind-altering substances into the atmosphere. Can anything be done about this? Of course not so don’t even consider it.

And just think, the nuts in the CIA are balanced by the even greater nuts at Stanford Research Institute (SR0in Menlo Park, California, who worked with the CIA to try to develop “out of body” proficiencies for agents. This was called ‘Remote Viewing” and has subsequently been siezed upon by a group of non-official local lunatics as a brand new toy to play with.

To date, the best and most proven method of getting outside your own body and opening up your mind to new and thrilling experiences is to jump under a moving train. In this case, an open mind leads to steam-cleaning train parts.

There is very serious trouble afoot in Pakistan , a fact known to the media but ignored in more important matters such as the Obama/Clinton Family mud throwing contests.

The public is getting aroused in that country, angry at the military disctatorship so warmly, and uselessly supported by the stupid Bush administration.

The military, that runs the country, has problems with the Muslim activists known collectively as the Taliban. They have a more or less tacit truce wherein the Taliban will not make trouble for the Army and the Army will not make trouble for the Taliban.

This worked out and of course we were not told this; we were told that the Pakistani army, whose leadership has received a gravy train full of weapons and cash, has not only contained the Taliban but has made inroads in their membership.

None of this is true and with the serious political problems in Pakistan , all of the quid pro quos are starting to unravel. Elements in the Pakistani military want to attack India and almost none of them like the Americans and all of them have complete contempt for Bush. The army is now testing medium range missiles with an eye to nuking India and India is well aware of this and is much bigger and much better armed.

Since the Bush people can do nothing about this, typically, they say nothing about it, aside from a vaguely worded communiqué from time to time that reassures those who don’t bother to read it that everything is wonderful. It isn’t of course, but we have put up with shoddy planning, chronic and very transparent lies and general malfeasance for eight years and anyone watching both the Democratic and Republican debates is aware that it is just going to continue as business as usual at the old stand.

By the way, a co worker gave me a website link that they said was utterly typical of the methodology the Rovian Republicans used to keep and maintain power.

It is a bit salty so it is suggested that no one under 18 even try to look at it.

If you don’t like it, write to the White House and tell them what you think of their activities. You could also write to the ASPCA or the Department of Agriculture. This is a site Rupert Murdoch might want to cover in his revised Wall Street Journal.

Bush has been running around the Arab countries trying in vain to act like an intelligent president and at home, the economy is collapsing. Yes, kids, you heard me, collapsing. A recession is for sure and a depression not so likely but not impossible. What has happened? Bush’s total lack of knowledge of basic economics, huge swindles being practiced, bubbles popping right and left. What’s doing all the damage is the utter and complete collapse of the crooked cheap mortgage system. This is based on outright swindles. It is not an accident. Huge hordes of shyster-like mortgage brokers deliberately let mortgages out to anybody who was above room temperature, even though they new for a certainty that when the banks and big lending agencies they sold them to, raised the rates, the mortgage holders would simply walk away. The institutions also knew these were fake but they readily bundled them and jammed them into anyone with money. Now, the small fry crooks have fled the country and the big banks and lending people are screwed right into the walls of their offices. It’s been all over the papers so there is no point in rehashing this but all the major banks, and I mean all of them, are taking it in the shorts and a number of the most prestigious ones are right on the edge of total bankruptcy. The government will cover all deposits up to $100,000 but not over that. And the hedge funds are another area about to cave in. They did a Ponzi with their suckers and when many try to cash out, they can’t because their ain’t no money, honey. They’ve been paying off the new customers with money from the old and once this one starts to cave in, there will be planes full of frantic former billionaires heading for Aruba or a safer Israel to join the mortgage brokers. This is a huge, terrible problem but the useless Bush is having tea with the Saudi king and acting like the bumbling airhead he really is. He won’t do a thing because he is far too stupid to know what to do. At the present time I do not feel investing in anything in the United States is recommended, and neither would I recommend depositing any sum of money into any unit of our banking system. The reason for this? Our economy is now sliding down a slippery slope, gold and oil are rising in value, banks are crumbling as are major U.S. investment companies. Perhaps if an investor looks for security for their funds, they might consider a Russian or Irish bank. I know that to be viable because I have money in similar institutions.

Some news of interest for those who prefer to drive rather than take the disintegrating national airlines with their long waits, lack of food, smelly passenger cabins and so on. That’s right, kids, just take a car and don’t worry about being spied on by retired child molesters or S&M freaks with second jobs. Right now we have in place in some states. viz Maryland, Virginia, Pennsylvania, Indiana , Illinois, California and parts of Michigan, a wonderful program designed to give a visual surveillance of all traffic on American highways.

This is called Operation ARGUS and was started by the crazy and disgraced Admiral Poindexter. It is a project controlled by both the Pentagon and the Department of Transportation and is a growing plan to conduct a permanent surveillance of all motor vehicles using the Federal Highway system (small county roads and farm tracks are not included in this…currently) .

Operation ARGUS consists of having unmanned video cameras installed over all Federal highways and toll roads. These cameras work 24/7 to video all passing vehicles, trucks, private cars and busses. The information is passed to a central data bank and entered into it for governmental use. This material may be shown, upon request of any authorized law enforcement agency to include private investigative and credit agencies licensed to work with Federal law enforcement information on any user of the road systems under surveillance.

Provisions are made, according to the operating plans, to notify local law enforcement immediately if any driver attempts to obscure their license plate number and instructs them to at once to “apprehend and identify” the vehicle or vehicles involved. This program, once put on ice, was eagerly revived by the Bush administration, with the specific approval of the President and to date, has cost the American taxpayers over eight billion dollars. In addition to the states now under permanent surveillance, additional states to be added within the next three years will include: North and Souith Carolina, Florida, Mississippi, Washington, Oregon and Colorado.

Legislation, expected to pass in Congress without comment, makes it a Federal crime to attempt to damage or in any way interfere with these surveillance devices.

It should be noted that many of these spy cameras are hidden on billboards, leased by the government, or other common highway features.

This is not just a project, dear hearts, but an actuality. Also, another project now in full swing, is to have Federal surveillance over all ATM security cameras that record visits to cash machines. Pictures of the users as well as their cash withdrawals are all forwarded to Federal law enforcement agencies. This program has been in operation since 2005 and the highway spying program has been in operation since July of 2006.

Happy trails, friends!

You all have read about the various opinion polls being taken on a regular basis. Nearly all of these polls are up for hire. If someone wants to prove that dogs are wonderful, the pollsters go through their files, locate the names and other data on pet owners, members of the SPCA or animal rights groups and poll them. Naturally, a massive support for animals, and dogs, is the predictable result. Polls constantly show Bush with a 30 % approval rating. Much higher results are found for support of the war. All of these polls are rigged in that the questions are weighted (‘Do you approve of putting nuclear plants that could explode next to a school in your town?’) and the groups asked are also weighted. We in the White House have a special poll that comes in via the DISA system. It is not designed for propaganda purposes but for realistic and very accurate input. These polls are ongoing and appear to be devastatingly accurate. Bush does not see these and in fact has said he did not want to see any poll results. God talks to him and Bush knows what is right and what is wrong. No polls for George! I have gotten the results from the last eight polls and am consolidating them here for your interest. And no doubt, the very few Bush supporters left or jealous bloggers will claim these figures are not true. Their cousin Annie-Mae tells them so. Annie-Mae is always right. Didn’t she predict that Planet X would destroy Houston two years ago? And Houston was destroyed, wasn’t it? What we see from commercial airlines when flying over it is a movie set for a new Tom Cruise movie to be called, ‘The Return of the Thetans.’

Support for the President’s policies 32%

Support for the President as a person 12%

Support for Christian values 65%

Belief in the Rapture 5%

Support for creative design 11%

Support for science/evolution 72%

Support for the Iraqi war 22%

Support for Israel 11%

Belief in the Holocaust 15%

Note: The last figures are very interesting, considering the tidal waves of fictive propaganda daily dumped on the American public. It is obvious that most Americans do not like Jews and really don’t stay awake at night, frantic to protect and defend Israel . The Bush people do that and eventually, we will all pay the very high price for their short-sighted stupidity.

Many people still think the FBI or the DHS climb up on telephone poles to tap their lines. They don’t have to, since several major phone companies voluntarily pour reams of information on any or all subscribers into the governmental national spy system. To AT&T and SBC, we can add AOL, Google and, most specifically, Internet II to the snitch system. Many of the so-called ‘interactive’ internet sites are fronts for the gathering of information and according to an interesting memo I read a week ago, in California in specific, the Bank of America has a direct liaison with the DHS and supplies them, unasked, for information on customer’s safe deposit holdings and account balances. In California (and perhaps in other states) the DHS can, and does, get into the safe deposit boxes of any customer. There are certain, specific subjects on Google or other information web sites such as Wikipedia, that trigger instant notification to specific governmental agencies. For example, if someone looks up the subject of a change of government in the Ukraine , a major and very secret CIA project, the CIA is notified at once. Someone curious about border security has their name and personal information to include computer IP addresses, on growing lists of “suspect terrorist friendly personages” (as the report reads) or anyone looking up Fidel Castro gets filed as a ‘Communist Cuban sympathizer’ even if, in reality, they are a 15 year old Cuban-American doing a term paper for civics class! Isn’t fascism a wonderful thing, kids?
