In view of your interest in Rove, I have dug into my files and put together a piece on Fat Karl that might give you and your readers an insight into the Gods and Monsters that now effectively run the United States. Karl has always gotten a legion of toadies to do his dirty work but he has left enough of a trail behind him to eventually destroy his career for good…but not before he trashes anyone and anything that annoys him or interferes with his precious boyfriend, Georgie the Weasel.

Karl Rove: The éminence grise of the White House

Rove, Karl C. b. December 25, 1950, in Denver Colorado, manages the Office of Political Affairs, the Office of Public Liaison, and the Office of Strategic Initiatives at the White House. Rove attended the University of Utah, the University of Texas at Austin and George Mason University. No academic degree. He has taught at the LBJ School of Public Affairs and in the Journalism Department at the University of Texas at Austin. In 1980 he married Valerie Wainright, a wealthy Houston woman from the Bush social circle. Was divorced and married his second wife, Darby, in 1986. They have a son, 16. Born on Christmas Day 1950 in Denver, Colorado, as one of five siblings, Karl C. Rove grew up in both Colorado and Utah, where his father was employed as a geologist. On his 19th birthday, his father abandoned the family and soon afterwards, Rove found out that this man was not his biological father. He was informed of this by his family. His mother committed suicide in Reno, Nevada in 1980.

While in a Utah high school, Rove was seen as an intelligent but loud-mouthed, highly opinionated eccentric and was not popular with his peers. School records indicate that Rove was highly argumentative with both his teachers and his peers and was known to use “vulgar and suggestive” language to female students. He had no girlfriends but spent all of his time in obsessive pursuit of various political offices in the school . It was remarked by students and faculty sponsors alike that Rove was intensely fixated on political activities “to the point of obsession” and that his methods of seeking school offices were highlighted by “unprincipled campaigns, noteworthy by their viciousness” towards any rival. Rove always wore jackets and ties in school and displayed an attitude of pompous self-importance that made him even more unpopular with staff and students alike. He had no interest in women, student social or sporting events but dedicated all of his school time in political activity. It was noted that when he obtained a position, he apparently lost all interest in it and merely applied himself to gaining the next higher position.

Rove had very little pocket money and was accused several times of stealing money from student’s personal lockers. His family had no strong political affiliations but Karl became fixated on Richard Nixon before he was ten and was a very loud and persistent supporter of him.

Like George W. Bush Dick Cheney and Donald Rumsfeld, Rove managed to avoid the Vietnam draft with a college deferment, but dropped out of the University of Utah in 1971, never obtaining a degree. While at the University of Utah, Rove began his real-life political career as the executive director of the College Republican National Committee. He held this position until 1972 when he became the National Chairman of the College Republicans (1973-1974). As chairman, Rove had access to many powerful politicians and government officials during the Watergate scandal, including then CIA director George H. W. Bush. For the next few years, he worked in various Republican circles and assisted George H. W. Bush's 1980 presidential campaign. Rove's greatest claim to fame at the time was that he had introduced Bush to Lee Atwater. A signature tactic of Rove was to attack an opponent on the opponent's strongest issue. Another tactic used since high school, was to launch smear campaigns against any political rival no matter how insignificant. Rove early on was a master at slander, usually imputing sexual deviations to his opponents but always being careful to divorce himself from the resulting reactions. Reports in his school files indicate that he was repeatedly warned by school authorities about these allegations of sexual deviancy but Rove always very smugly denied being their author. A school district psychiatrist wrote that Rove was sexually inadequate and had developed an “almost pathological hatred” of so-called “normal” students. The general consensus of Karl Rove in high school is that he was very bright but obsessive about gaining some kind of control over his fellow students and doing so by publicly humiliating them. Rove was termed “arrogant, untruthful and very destructive” in his interpersonal reactions while in school.

When Rove went on to college, he only increased his intense focus on almost any kind of politics but now manifested an intense attraction to ultra-conservative politics while studying at the University of Utah, where he described himself as a "diehard Nixonite" often expressing violent hatred for what he termed "all those Commies" in Vietnam. He also expressed fury and contempt for fellow students who did not support the war and began circulating forged newspaper articles claiming criminal arrests for sexual deviancy on the part of campus liberals. Rove was a "Young Republican" back when being a Young Republican wasn't cool (a historical era ranging from 1959 through the present). As a student at the prestigious University of Utah, Rove teamed up with a young Lee Atwater to seize control of the College Republicans political club in the early 1970s.

Lee Atwater was later to become notorious as the man who sealed Michael Dukakis's defeat in the 1988 presidential election with a blatantly racist television advert demonising the Democratic candidate for offering a weekend prison release to a violent black prisoner in Massachusetts. Atwater and Rove became lifelong friends as well as colleagues, sharing a very similar outlook including a passion for Machiavelli's The Prince, the ultimate political document about the ends justifying the means. In his campaign to seize the nationwide College Republicans by running for the chairmanship in 1973, Rove quickly reverted to type and left a mass of destruction behind him as he elbowed, kicked, bit and otherwise damaged any person standing in his way. His hallmark then, as now, was the launching of vicious and almost always invented, slander against his perceived enemies. Prime among these accusations were allegation of sexual aberrations, a subject that Rove has always been obsessed with. In the College Republican race, Rove challenged the legitimacy of every delegate who voted for his opponent, and came up with an entirely bogus alternate slate of delegates he claimed had greater standing. The matter was ultimately decided in Rove's favor by the then head of the Republican National Committee, George H. W. Bush. Both men have remained unwaveringly loyal to each other since although the senior Bush has been careful not to identify himself with Rove’s savage malice.

His highly aggressive and completely unprincipled ad homonym attacks on anyone in his way won the 22-year-old Rove a walk-on role in the Watergate saga that was consuming the nation. A report was published in the Washington Post on August 10, 1973, titled "[Republican party] Probes Official as Teacher of Tricks", gave an account, based on tape recordings, of how Rove and a colleague had been touring the country giving young Republicans political combat training, in which they recalled their feats of Republic partisanship , such as Rove's Chicago theft at the Dixon headquarters. In the autumn election season of 1970, a chubby, simpering and bespectacled teenager turned up at the Chicago campaign headquarters of Alan Dixon, a Democrat running for state treasurer in Illinois. No one paid the newcomer much attention when he arrived, or when he left soon afterwards. Nor did anyone in the office make the connection between the mystery volunteer and 1,000 invitations on campaign stationery that began circulating in Chicago's red-light district and soup kitchens, promising "free beer, free food, girls and a good time for nothing" for all-comers at Dixon's headquarters.

The incident marked the genesis of the Rove-Bush axis and it was in Washington that Rove met the younger Bush. He literally fell in love with the future President’s son. "Huge amounts of charisma, swagger, cowboy boots, flight jacket, wonderful smile, just charisma - you know, wow," Rove recalled years later. In 1977, Rove was sent to Texas, in theory to run a political action committee, but according to one Texan political consultant who knew him at the time, "It was really to baby-sit Bush back when Bush was drinking". The younger Bush, as is well known, was a heavy binge drinker and while intoxicated, was known to be completely self-destructive, cursing family friends, urinating in public, once, even in the White House during the Reagan administration. Bush’s college records, as well as law enforcement reports, indicate that Bush’s drinking caused several minor accidents and that when apprehended he cursed and threatened police officers, claiming that his father would “get them” if they didn’t let him go. There was also the question of sexual orientation. Bush was known to associate with openly gay students and is known to have developed an “especially intimate” relationship with one student while at the Harvard Business School.

While trying to keep George W. Bush out of trouble, Rove set up a direct mail political operation, calling it Rove & Company. Its purpose was to identify potential Republican voters and target them with pro-Republican campaign literature and voter registration forms.

Rove’s direct-mail political consulting business and worked on Republican campaigns in Texas. He tapped into oil money and other corporate interests and helped a succession of candidates to clean out the old Democratic order in the South. One campaign, for a spot on the Alabama state supreme court, was so nasty it led to a year-long court battle in which Rove accused his opponent - who had led in the initial vote tally - of systematic vote fraud and thereby prevented a batch of all-important absentee ballots from being counted at all. This same underhanded tactic was repeated again in Florida in the 200 presidential election, an election controlled with an iron hand by Karl Rove and run according to his dictum of always attacking the other side by every means available including slander, fraud , intimidation and outright blackmail

They talked about a run for Texas governor in 1990, but decided to wait until the senior Bush was no longer President. .In 1994, Rove persuaded Bush to run for Governor of Texas. They waited until George H./W. Bush was not longer in office because the senior Bush disliked and disapproved of Rove’s vicious personal attacks on his opponents. It was Rove who decided to oppose a very popular incumbent, Ann Richards, and Rove developed a political strategy based on appalling venom, often accusing Richards of being a practicing Lesbian, which she was not.

Every day for two years, the Bush campaign put out negative stories about Governor Richards, hinting she was soft on crime and overly fond of homosexuals, culminating in a devastating revelation that a prominent Richards appointee had lied about her college education. From the start, Rove kept Bush away from unscripted situations, offering him just three or four key talking points which the candidate repeated ad nauseam until the electorate not only memorized them but also started to believe them. Rove also became adept at handling the media, rigorously controlling their access and never shying away from calling a dissenting reporter at home and screaming.

Although Rove is conventionally religious, he does not share Bush's religiosity, but the two men have a similar antipathy to East Coast intellectual types and a preference for political discourse that is simple, forceful and appealing to the gut more than the head. One of Rove's favorite books is The Dream and the Nightmare, an excoriation of the progressive values of the 1960s by a neoconservative thinker called Myron Magnet. Magnet blames poverty on liberal permissiveness and suggests the problem is best left to Christian charities - an embryonic form of what Rove and Bush would come to call "compassionate conservatism". Rove is a master coiner of such political labels. "Compassionate conservatism" manages to appeal both to the religious right and also to some moderates.

In March 2001, Rove met with executives from Intel, successfully advocating a merger between a Dutch company and an Intel company supplier. Rove owned $100,000 in Intel Co. stock at the time. In June 2001, Rove met with two pharmaceutical industry lobbyists. At the time, Rove held almost $250,000 in drug industry stocks. On 30 June 2001, Rove divested his stocks in 23 companies, which included more than $100,000 in each Enron, Boeing, General Electric, and Pfizer. Rove was one of the biggest holders of Enron stock among White House staffers, with between $100,000 and $250,000 worth of shares when he was appointed. He was required to sell them when the Bush administration took office On 30 June 2001, the White House admitted that Rove was involved in administration energy policy meetings, while at the same time holding stock in energy companies including Enron. Rove also recommended the Republican strategist Ralph Reed (former executive director of the Christian Coalition) to Enron for a consulting contract as Bush was considering whether to run for president.

Although it has become a common belief that the U.S. attack on Iraq was instigated by the extreme right of the Republican party or the macninations of the very pro-Israeli neo-cons, the actual movitating force behind what has deveoped into a terrible debacle was Karl Rove. He believes, and has stated, that a wartime president is impossible to attack and that if Bush were seen as a wartime president, he would be guaranateed two full terms. In spite of many negative reports on the feasibility of such an attack by US intelligence agencies, to include the CIA and the Pentagon, Rove easily persuaded Bush to abandon his military activities in Afghanistan for a much more dramatic pounce on oil-rich Iraq.

A former U.S. Ambassador , Joseph Wilson was one of the biggest political liabilities the White House faced in 2003. Wilson had been dispatched to Niger early in 2002 to investigate whether Iraq was trying to buy uranium there. Turns out, they weren't. He reported this information to the White House, which promptly ignored it. Bush cited the uranium story in his 2003 State of the Union address, Cheney cited it repeatedly, and the State Department cited it in several of its endless justifications for why the U.S. just had to invade Iraq. When Wilson wrote an op-ed piece for the New York Times, he incurred the spiteful fury of Karl Rove and shortly after this article was publish, with attendant negativity for the President, a leak to a right wing White House friendly reporter disclosed that Wilson’s wife was a serving CIA agent. As this is a clear violation of federal law, a desultory investigation was launched but without result. Many individuals attached to the White House have put the blame for this squarely on Rove, who denies it. It is a hallmark of his destructive activities that he always hides behind others and piously claims to be the injured party.

Then, just a few short weeks after the fall of Baghdad, Rove had the President dress up in a flight suit and land on the aircraft carrier USS Abraham Lincoln beneath the slogan "Mission Accomplished", in what appeared to be a brazen photo op for the presidential re-election campaign. Hindsight and the mounting body count have taught us that this was a rare Rove play gone wrong. But it also speaks volumes about the cynicism of an operation willing to create political sales pitches out of the very gravest issues of war and peace, life and death.

By his own account, Rove's sights are set even further into the future than Bush's re-election. He has spoken about strategic shifts of power that happen every so often in American history. The precedent he often refers to was set over a century ago by William McKinley, another Republican with brilliant advisers, who narrowly defeated a populist Democrat (William Jennings Bryan) in 1896 and established a Republican hegemony that lasted more than three decades.

Rove has stated in closed Republican circles that it is his aim to reduce the Democratic Party to a virtual cipher and that he intends to oversee a Republican lock on all three branches of government.

The Republicans now control the Presidency, the Senate, and the House of Representatives. Rove's task now is to consolidate that dominance of the White House and Capitol Hill and then use it to recast the Washington's third source of power, the Supreme Court, from its current cautious conservatism to a more activist and strongly right wing Republicanism. As the Republican party has virtually been preempted by both the radical political and even more radical Christian, right, Rove caters heavily to these groups. Their ferocity appeals to his own and their tight organization make it far easier for Rove to control and direct.

Well, things are rapidly winding down to the election. Plans here are to fight fiercely for each and every vote and use any method imaginable if it gets Bush elected. Rove has come up with a long list of dirty tricks from stealing ballots, intimidating potential voters, messing with computer generated results, dragging everyone involved into various courts to tie things up for months, bribery, theft, character assassination are all part of Fat Karl’s trick box. Around the White House, Rove has awesome and absolute power and has no difficulty about using it to wreak havoc on anyone who gets in his crosshairs. Two weeks ago, give or take a day or so, I personally heard Rove say, concerning Pat Robertson’s remark about having warned Bush about the consequences of invading Iraa”. 'We will fuck him. Do you hear me? We will fuck him. We will ruin him. Like no one has ever fucked him!'" Rove used to work for Donald Segretti, Nixon’s hit man who went to prison after Watergate. We know that in 1970, Fat Karl broke into the campaign offices of an Illinois Democrat, Alan Dixon, and stole boxes of his letterheads and envelopes. On these Fat Karl forged up nasty letters which he then sent out to everyone in the district. And another typical bit of Rove filthiness for you: In 2000 when it looked like McCain might beat Bush in the primaries, Rove has laughingly admitted, in my presence and others, that he hired a front telemarketer to call all over South Carolina asking responders if they would vote for McCain if they knew that he had a bastard child by a black woman. I have a thick file of Fat Karl’s dirty businesses and of course, with such an evil, distorted and criminal background, why are we surprised that Fat Karl is a devout Pentecostal Christian? We are not. Goes with the territory, and birds of a feather flock together.

The story now making the rounds in the White House is that your evil informant might not be a reporter after all. They have been conducting intensive investigations into every member of the media with regular access to the White House. They seem to be unable to locate anyone who has access to so many confidential sources. Terrified lesser staff members assure the questioners that they never, never talk to the press. They are forbidden to do so and this has been in place long before I cut loose. All staff members, from the highest to the lowest, have to sign terrifying promises to remain loyal to our beloved President and never, under threat of serious prosecution, discuss anything they may learn in the course of their employment. Well, if I am not a lowly reporter, who could I be? I looked at myself this morning after my shower and decided that I could not be George W. Bush. I have testicles and he does not. All good natured humor aside, who ever I am, believe that what I can lay my hands on is original. How long have I been sending articles to you? And how long have you been publishing? Believe me, if I was wrong, at least twenty “very reputable” media types (all in the White House pocket) would begin to attack you with a great fury. The fact that they have not would indicate either that they do not wish to bring undue attention to you or that I am simply a figment of someone’s fevered imagination.

Now on to other matters. The business of Cheney’s daughter is in bad taste. I have met her and she is an intelligent and decent young woman. Her sexual preferences, insofar as she does not drag children out of day care centers, is strictly her own business. On the other hand, I feel that if a very senior member of the White House was a secret gay with a long and sordid background in concealing it, this is something the voters ought know about. If you do not agree with me, you can delete this.

In my second-to-last communication I talked about a male ”escort service” [read gay brothel] operating in DC for the edification of the very senior Beltway people. I have, locked up in my office safe, copies of the credit card receipts with names, card numbers and signatures of: two Supreme Court and one Appellate Court judges {Have you heard about the two judges who tried each other?} eight Senators, five Congressmen, two former and one current White House aides, [the latter a very senior policy-maker] a number of very prominent DC lawyers, several senior members of the RNC, four general officers and one Admiral, three of whom are still on active duty [one in the Pentagon], five local newspapermen, eight ministers, high level employees of: State Department, Commerce Department, Justice Department, HEW Department, DC police department, NSA, DIA, and most especially, a number of pundits from Georgetown University and a nice collection of CIA people. The proprietor of this stud farm was one Todd Blodgett and there was a front-page story on one of his male whore establishments in the Washington Times. Blodgett was a Reagan White House aide, was fired from both the WH and later, the RNC, for aggressive homosexual behavior and then tossed out of the University Club in DC.

Information that has been kept very quiet at the highest levels would indicate that George W. Bush was heavily involved with gay groups while at Yale, had a significant affair with another man while at HBS, was a "very close friend" of a black drag queen and, according to three different inside sources, is no more a Pentecostal Christian than Saddam Hussein.

The sex material about our pure, God-intoxicated President, comes from one arrest report and several "counseling" reports now sequestered (by order of Karl Rove) at Yale (Bush's records there have been sealed) There is the temptation to run with this but there at least has to be something factual here. The Republicans are trying to plant obvious lies on everyone in the hopes that others like the nutty Rather will take them up and make Bush look like a wonderful but persecuted man. According to one report, made long before Bush was Governor of Texas, he could not have any kind of sex with women unless at least half drunk and was a practicing advocate of physical abuse. He likes to beat people, according to this. But not be beaten in return. Some of this is not only difficult to believe but downright repulsive. “Caligula’ is not that far off the mark when applied to our sainted leader. You can see small traces of these accusations if you talk with Bush for any length of time. He has succumbed entirely to the outrageous flattery his staff smears him with and he now really believes that he is always right and that anyone who dares to contradict him is guilty of treason! Or sedition! I have actually heard him say that and, of course, his nodding and sucking staff goes right along with him. “Oh yes, Mr. President! How wonderfully clear, Mr. President! You are always right, Mr. President! Certainly, Mr. President; your enemies are enemies of America!” Bush cannot, or will not, read any current news, not even well-crafted intelligence reports, and refuses to listen to any kind of criticism and the White House has assumed the oppressive, hothouse atmosphere of a Byzantine imperial court at its worst.

Bush was always odd man out as a child and youth. He was constantly being compared with his successful father [and now he subconsciously hates GHWB] and he took refuge in drink, kinky sex and, to a lesser degree, drugs. His younger brother, Jeb, was the successful [and much more normal] one and George was always told “Jeb doesn’t act that way, George. Can’t you at least try to act like a normal human being and stop humiliating your family?” [such as pissing on White House carpets during the Reagan years] Bitterness, frustration and a strong sense of personal worthlessness are the building blocks of our President’s formative years. I have seen him when he is letting his mask down and believe me, he is a very bitter, petty and vindictive man. Now, as President, he is sucked up to by everyone around him and he has become a classic victim of flattery of the weak by the manipulative.

I have seen enough of him, and heard more than enough of him, to believe that George is not a Pentecostal Christian at all. I firmly believe that this is an act to get votes from what he and his really Christian Karl Rove, see as a powerful economic and voting bloc. And from what I have heard, Pat Robertson has become aware of this phoniness and is trying to distance himself from Bush to protect his reputation…and income.

Part of me can feel sorry for him but I do not want to see him, or anyone even remotely like him, in the White House ever again.

After that nice bit of pleasantry, let’s consider something far more serious as far as world peace is concerned. This concerns the US activities in the Caucasus. The Chechen rebel organization, led by Shamil Basayev, (long supplied with money and explosives by the CIA), that slaughtered 170 children and 130 adults in Beslan is about to be obliterated by Russian special military units. The Russian government has been demanding that leading members of this CIA-controlled group, Akhmad Zakayew, now hiding out in London and Ilyas Akhmadov now safe in the US, be turned over to Russia for planning and conducting the Beslan massacre. This will never happen, believe me. However, that having been said, someone has told the Russians where these two men are living and it would not come as an unwelcome surprise if aggressive burglars killed both of these child-killers and anyone else in their homes. Not that they wouldn’t deserve it.

The Russians should realize that through the request of the CIA, Ilyas Akhmadov was quietly given political asylum in the US and receives a Reagan-Fascell monthly paycheck, full medical insurance and office space, paid for by the US government, from which he engages in political propaganda for the Chechen rebels ( The Fascell Foundation is funded by Congress through the US State Department) ed

In short, the US government is trying its best to force Russia out of the Chechen area and to seize control over current and past Russian territories.

This is only a small part of the US government’s design to chase Russia out of the oil-rich Caspian Sea and Caucasus area, set up puppet governments obedient to US and British oil interests and cut Putin, whom they both view as a dangerous enemy, from the world’s oil markets

The Neocons and raging Likudists, the ultra-rightists who hate all Russians as former Communists and the greedy world oil cartels are out to neuter Putin whom they see as an impediment to their plans but they are also afraid that Russia might implement the Eurobloc plan to only accept euros, not dollars, for their oil. If this current and growing movement gains widespread acceptance in Europe (excluding England) and especially in the Arab countries, the dollar is finished as a world reserve currency. Although senior elements of the CIA are now feuding with the Bush White House and releasing more and more accusatory documents, reports on the Russian oil problems still continue to flow into the White House where they are read by a number of staff members but never by the President whom I personally know has no knowledge of them…by choice on his part.

The US is, in effect, sponsoring terrorists who slaughter a school full of little children, solely to implement their policy of controlling Russian oil and discrediting and hopefully forcing Putin to resign to be replaced with one of the usual pathetic broken down CIA front men. We have one of these in Georgia now and another in Iraq.

In essence, what the crazy Bush people have done, are doing and will continue to do is to divide not only the United States but the rest of the civilized world into two camps: Them and Us. I have read numerous intelligence reports that indicate a rapidly escalating and very determined animosity against the new Bush American Empire and where once there was nationalism and disunity, now there is a growing sense of common cause and that cause is to topple the United States from its self-proclaimed position as the New Rome.

The CIA has almost no agents “on the ground” anywhere in the world and the Rumsfeld new Super Intelligence Agency with Dirty Doug Feith is as completely useless as the pathetic Homeland Security farce. Fools say: “Oh, George Bush has kept America safe! There have been no new attacks here because he has shown the world’s terrorists that he is at the helm of our ship of state.” This is complete nonsense, believe me. The Arabs, or more aptly, the militant Muslims, have chosen not to launch any domestic attacks because no one [Muslim fundamentalists, Swiss bankers or just about anyone else of note.] wants the lunatic Bush and his gang of religious fascists in power and such an attack, before the election might accomplish this. The only entity that avidly applauds a continued Bush reign is the state of Israel and that’s because they see the U.S. as the monkey that is pulling their chestnuts out of the hot fire.

Everything I have personally seen on this subject indicates that if Bush gets reelected, the fun will really begin and there is absolutely nothing that the useless Ridge people can do to stop it. The attacks on the United States are considered by everyone involved to be twofold: Militant [i.e. explosives or BW of various kinds to include small atomic weapons or smallpox now being considered by them] and Economic which consists of interdicting oil shipments to the United States by various means. There is also, as I have indicated earlier, a strong global movement to dish the dollar as a universal medium of exchange and replace it with the euro. This has met with some resistance with many banking systems but it is being pointed out that a large percentage of their own dollar holdings are in worthless counterfeits [courtesy of the very clever Iranians] so that if and when this becomes public knowledge [it is already well-known in international banking circles] confidence in the dollar will immediately collapse and even America will have to pay for whatever small amounts of oil it can get in euros!

If the public was aware of the sometimes-glacial but very deadly progress of this economic war, they would worry like hell and stop listening to the blatantly phoney “terrorist alerts” that have been waved in front of them to deliberately panic them into continued support of what is, in essence, a badly failed and very deadly Bush policy.

In all of this, the role of the American media is sickening. Our ‘heroic, free press’ is completely controlled, not by ‘evil Jews’ but by corporations who completely integrate their policies with those of any Administration in power, Republican or Democrat. Editors, reporters and even publishers are well aware of the seriousness of the disastrous problems Bush has instigated but they will say, or do, nothing to “rock the corporate boat” while media executives buy homes in Costa Rica or the Upper Yukon. Just to be on the safe side. It might be instructive to learn where Rupert Murdoch of FOX News has a new home.

This is probably the most corrupt Administration on record. Unlike the Grant tenure where the widespread corruption did not touch the President himself, in the present instance, Bush is grabbing off all the siphoned-off campaign donations he can. In Iraq, and even in the US, the corruption in the prosecution of the war boggles the imagination. Everyone has to be especially careful not to go after Halliburton because Dick Cheney has such a big hand in that pie and asking pointed questions is not considered either prudent or safe.

Money allotted by the Pentagon for armored vests for the soldiers in Iraq was swiped by an Administration-friendly contractor, over billing is the order of the day in Iraq and the private contractors are absolutely the worst. They all have made hundreds of millions of dollars off of the American public since the war began in Iraq and it is so bad and so blatant that senior US military officials are getting really outraged. Of course, it is known that for, let’s say, an Air Force General in the field to file a complaint against an Administration-friendly [read a kickback cooperator] contracting firm is a certain guarantee of career inhibition. In one case, <>very<> outdated military small-arms ammunition was bought as surplus-to-be-destroyed by an enterprising firm in New Jersey for pennies and then resold as new to the military. Half the time, the rounds don’t fire and men get killed. Complaints never get out of Iraq on this one and threats of reassignment to the North Pole rumble around like summer thunder.

The Pentagon itself is not involved in this filthy thievery but there is very little they can do about it. Feith and Pearle, two of the worst congenital liars I have ever met, are certainly not getting poor over this war. Richard Pearle was so bad he had to get out of the spotlight lest the Democrats made a campaign issue out of him. Doug Feith spends most of his time faking up intelligence reports at the request of Rumsfeld to flummox the President and his band of ideological ninnies.

Cheney claims that he has no stock in Halliburton and therefore has nothing to gain from their massive, and very successful, swindles. True he has no stock. Also true is that Dick has huge <>stock purchase options<> and if Halliburton’s income and stock go up, he can buy stock cheaply and make a huge killing. It’s very well-known here that if Cheney doesn’t have another serious heart attack that Bethesda doctors say will certainly kill him, he will leave the White House as a multi-millionaire many times over.

George W. has been tapping the “soft money” till ever since he has been in the Oval Office and he is not the only one. Sometimes some of us more informed ones here in the Monkey Palace think the Iraqi war was just a convenient excuse, and cover, for wholesale lootings…

There is now some debate about the subject of the planned and proposed joint US/Israeli attack on Iran. There is no question it passed from the drawing board to the paper stage but with all the negative publicity generated, mostly by your publication of my comments, some are having second thoughts. I had some fun today reading a Russian website..www.Iraqwar.ru that discussed all of this. One drooling idiot said that I did not exist. Remind me to tell my wife about this! There are some strange ones running loose out there, for certain.

The next bit of information for your readers concerns Vladimir Putin, the Russians and the CIA. It is common knowledge that Reagan played high stakes poker with the Russians, using the completely phony Star Wars project to force them into an escalating hardware war that they lost. After the fall of Communism, the economy collapses and US oil interests moved right in to lay their hands on the potentially vital Russian oil fields. They operated via the CIA through Moscow street thugs who grabbed the properties when the state privatized them, looted everything in sight and got their friends in the US to loan them huge sums of cash…which they also stole and stashed in Swiss and Israeli banks. Putin came into power when the CIA’s Yeltsin drank himself into a permanent stupor. Putin, an ex-KGB man, is not stupid and is not a drunk. He stopped the takeover of Russian oil, broke up the Russian/US cartels and caused spastic colon in boardrooms all over the United States and England. The US could not tolerate well-heeled and generous friends of the Republicans being deprived of their profits so they embarked on a clandestine campaign to discredit Putin and get their hands back on the Russian oil-producing areas. The CIA ran the show. They overthrew the government of Georgia and put their man in power and moved on Azerbaidschan and Cechenia. To make a long story short, it turns out that the CIA supported fully the Chechen leader that was directly responsible for the Russian school massacre. They have a lovely habit of doing such things. After all, the CIA killed Allende in Chile and replaced him with their man, Pinochet, who slaughtered God knows how many Chileans. The point is here that Putin found out about our official but clandestine support of this monster and to say he and his people are angry and determined to put a stop to any future adventurism of this kind goes without saying.

This leads me up to tacit Russian support of Iran. Today, Russia is fishing in troubled waters because no one in the Middle East, and I mean no one, wants American troops in that area. Bush is seen as a madman and American activities against the citizenry of Iraq has outraged not only the locals but the entire Muslim community plus all of Europe and much of Asia. We are caught between a rock and a hard place. Bush is absolutely incapable of admitting he is wrong and the fanatic Neocons so determined that the US fully support Israel that if this new Vietnam continues for much longer, the results will be absolutely devastating. I know a number of senior and very professional military men of rank and position who are horrified at Bush’s activities and the activities of the savage gang of private murderers he turned loose on the Iraqi population and who can clearly see what is going to happen. They all know what a treacherous man Bush is and if and when things really explode, he will quickly blame them even though they want nothing to do with his Mad Hatter Empire building. Notice that the CIA also loathes him and has been leaking very important anti-Bush documents to their many friends in the American media. Bush blames them for his own gross stupidity and fanaticism and they are getting their revenge on him and his corrupt administration. It is a really terrible thing to sit by and watch a major disaster slowly building and know that there is nothing anyone can do about it. …

The last material I sent you, about a pending war, is causing pandemonium inside the Monkey Palace. They have been looking for the leaks for months now and we have the Secret Service, the FBI and Homeland Security all involved at one level or another. Phones are being watched, laptops searched physically, in some cases we have seen staff taking lie detector tests and over all of this, threats of arrest and imprisonment for violating National Security! I will have more for you tomorrow on the possibility/probability of military action against Iran but in the meantime, here is a juicy bit for you. For the present, no names but they will follow. Seems a former White House aide, (Reagan White House) was caught running a male prostitution service and got fired from the Monkey Palace, and later from the RNC for supplying muscular boy toys to some top Beltway gays. Well, after being fired, our bozo got together with a Muslim druggie and set up operations at the Kennedy-Warren, a landmark DC apartment/business complex. They ran a male escort service supplying young studs to older Beltway citizens. Among these citizens were: Federal judges, top political figures, mostly Republican, very senior military people and certainly members of Congress. The head of this service, that utilized credit cards for payment, supplied young men, mostly young servicemen, between 18 to 25 for sex. They kept very complete records, including names and address of the johns as well as credit card receipts. And later there was blackmail and now, I have learned from the inside, this joker has sold the lists to: Iranians( through his partner’s Arab connections) and a gay group in DC. Sold the lists twice and got twice the money.

I have seen a partial list and it reads like the DC social register, believe me! This enterprising young man is very liable to end up at the bottom of the Potomac River just like ex-CIA chief Bill Colby who was terminated by his former employees because he just couldn’t keep his mouth shut about certain things. I won’t have old Bill’s problem because I am not a Princeton man and even you don’t know who I am. You had the intestinal fortitude to print the material about the planned Iranian attack and maybe you will do the same with this one. I know a number of people inside the Beltway read your site…and loathe you…and if they read this and are closet queens, the sale of dignity pants will soar in the next few weeks. My, my, such lovely names! The Washington Times did a front page story on this joker some time back, by the way, but no one dared to touch him because of what, and whom, he knew…and serviced…

This time, friends, I have some very important news for all of you. Unlike the usual silly gossip that goes on around the White House, intermingled with loud praying, this is really news. We are about to embark on another war! Yes, it has been decided and carefully planned. Who are we going to war with? Iran. Background here: (I am taking this from a paper which I have to return)

Thesis: Iran hates the United States and Israel. Iran has atomic weapons and missiles (the Shahab, courtesy of North Korean/Russian technicians) It can easily reach Tel Aviv. It can also reach US troop concentrations in Iraq. Israel is scared shitless. Their pressure groups have leaned on the White House, with a great deal of assistance from Cheney and the Neocons. The actual plan is this:

The U.S. has no troops available for an Iranian adventure and the Israelis would rather not lose any warm bodies so…it has been firmly decided that both Israel and the U.S. will launch a surprise attack against 1., Iranian missile sites, 2. Iranian nuclear facilities and 3. the leadership of Iran located in and around Tehran. How will this be done? By aircraft attack using U.S. developed “smart bombs” and the so-called “bunker-buster” bombs designed to destroy underground reinforced concrete facilities .We just sent these to Israel. Because of the political ramifications, the Israelis will conduct the main strikes, supported by U.S. aircraft as needed. The aim will be to wipe out any vestige of nuclear weaponry, its delivery system and all the Iranian leaders capable of starting any attacks on Israel (mostly Tel Aviv…too many fellow Muslims in Jerusalem.) Since it would be a problem for Israeli Air Force units to fly round trip from Israel, the solution will be to launch these attacks from U.S. aircraft carriers located in the Persian Gulf area.

As I write, the super carrier USS John F. Kennedy (CV 67) is now in the Persian Gulf along with the so-called Essex Expeditionary Strike Group (ESG) [31st Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU) (SOC)] which consists of:: USS Essex (LHD 2) USS Juneau (LPD 10) USS Harpers Ferry (LSD 49) USS Mobile Bay (CG 53USS Hopper (DDG 70) USS Preble (DDG 88) The initial attacks will be an early-morning surprise attack launched to coincide with religious services in Tehran’s Muslim mosques with the idea of catching not only the leading Mullahs inside but a large number of their congregations as well. One attack will concentrate on these religious centers and the other will hit both the underground nuclear facilities and identified (courtesy of U.S. satellite shots) missile launching sites. The U.S. will supply observation and radio surveillance aircraft with radar-jamming capacities operating out of Turkey and Italy. The entire attack is scheduled to last no more than one hour with at least three waves of Israeli aircraft utilized. No warning will be given to the Iranians and no declaration of war. The possible deaths of foreign diplomats in the attacks has been discussed and accepted as part of the price. This attack has the full support of the President who wants it launched before the elections. He can then make a speech to the American people stating that the evil Iranian nuclear weaponry has been destroyed by the Israelis with the full cooperation of his government as part of his heroic war against terrorists.

Believe me, that speech has already been written and I have seen a copy of it. The brass here feels that this will have a tremendous impact on the American people, just before the elections. No U.S. ground troops will be used; Bush will stress that this is a joint U.S.-Israeli anti-terrorist project. Part of the speech deals with ongoing Shiite Iranian physical support of their Shiite brethren in Iraq and that by knocking out the Iranian nuclear weaponry, at the same time, they are protecting GIs from ongoing guerrilla warfare. The brass is literally rubbing it’s hands and drooling over what they see as Bush’s Final Victory. I have seen a negative report copy from someone in the Pentagon [who is not going to get promoted] that says if the Iranians get wind of this little game, they might strike first and they might also realize that large numbers of vulnerable American troops are concentrated inside Iraqi cities, prime targets for a nuclear tactical attack. These people are literally insane and I really hope you don’t delete this. Something really has to be done to stop these maniacs before we all die of radiation sickness!

Orders have gone out from here to the Pentagon mandating the use of “swift and maximum force” to at least get back one of the centers of resistance from the militant Iraqis. This means, according to my source, that “we bomb the living shit out of them and occupy the rubble.” The problem is that many civilians will die and their infrastructure will be even more interdicted and destroyed. Bush has to do something to try to convince the growing doubts in American voters that he actually knows what he is doing. Which he does not. The military are afraid that if they fail, before the election, Bush will blame them for the failure when they know that a really significant victory there is completely impossible. Oh well, what are a few hundred dead Iraqi children and hundreds of homes flattened if it means the Bush will be back in power for another four disastrous years? Cheers!

Like most of the people connected with the White House, I watched the first debate. I know from the inside that Bush was heavily prepared by his staff but they cannot overcome his chronic inability to react to any hostile questions. Kerry is a polished speaker and Bush is not. He may come across in Iowa as a forceful and brave leader but to me, and I do not like him at all, he came across as a very petulant man who had become used to having his way and goes into a snit when he is crossed. Also, it’s known around the Monkey Palace that Bush carries a small prompter, cunningly disguised as a hearing aid, so at press conferences his handlers, comfortably behind the scenes, can whisper answers to him.

Sometime, for technical reasons, their answers are garbled and that is one of the reasons he says so many unintelligible things…he didn’t understand his handler’s instructions. However, considering how much gets leaked from around here, one source told me that the Kerry people were aware of this secret prompter and electronically blocked it, causing Bush to shake his head because all he was getting was static as his frantic aides tried to slip answers to him. If this is true, Bush and Rove are being paid back in their own coin! (Redacted) told me and (redacted) that when the debate was over, Bush had to be medicated, he was so angry. He was shaking so badly he spilled the contents of a cup of coffee. It’s a given that I don’t like Bush. He is not all there most of the time and simply cannot think quickly or effectively and, in truth, I can feel sorry for him. He knows what to say but it is impossible for him to say it! He struggles to find what he knows is a good answer but the words will not come out. I understand that when he was drinking, he could be entertaining and quick but now that he is off the sauce (and rumors that Bush is boozing it up again are false. He is medicated but I am positive he does not drink) he has a real problem with responses. Anyone who saw Fahrenheit 911 and watched his reaction to the news of the WTC attack will recognize this.

On a personal level, I certainly have the capacity to sympathize with Bush but his stubbornness, inability to admit error coupled with his piss-poor reaction times do not make him an effective leader, especially in such dangerous times. He is incapable of cutting our losses and getting out of a totally unproductive Iranian venture. His gross hubris and inability to admit error precludes this. The draft issue is continuing to boil up but no one here wants to get within ten feet of it. Will there be a draft? everyone asks. All of the machinery is right in place but Bush can’t have this unless there is a serious national emergency. It would be the kiss of death for Congress to push this through, especially in an election year. One of Bush’s top aide’s secretaries said that Bush is praying “real heard” for another Pearl Harbor so he “can take real control over the destiny of America” and achieve Manifest Destiny, something that McKinley tried over a hundred years ago and failed to accomplish. In an age of global cooperation, Bush is dragging us back into the McGuffy Reader Era of Isolationism and Jingoism. And we will all pay for it. Through a front, Bush bought a tica or coffee plantation in Costa Rica where he can retire and not worry about being shot at. Around here, everyone is really scared that the Arabs will blow up the White House with them in it. If they tried, there would be damned little to stop them. Our intelligence agencies and law enforcement groups are as useless as tits on a boar pig and spend most of their time grabbing for more power and dissing their rivals to worry about the rest of us. And we will pay for that, too…

One of the real hot spots of this campaign is the draft issue. People are walking on eggs here in the Monkey Palace. On the one hand, the President has set up all the machinery for a draft and plans to push it through when and if he gets a second term. Rove and his boys would like to put a spin on this and have their toadies in the press deny it but too many people are in the know so their best bet is to hunker down, invent something of superficial interest they can flog in the press until November and hope to God the draft issues doesn’t spill over its banks before then. Someone suggested, only partially in jest, that terrorists should kidnap one or both of the nasty Bush brats and threaten to cut off their heads! This is a standard joke around here but look for the truth in the jest, kids. They are frantic here to refocus public attention on unimportant issues like the Scott Peterson trial or the Florida Hurricanes. One of the more entertaining letters than came in here was from some religious nut (Bush loves them and sucks up to their leaders on a daily basis) that said that God was punishing Florida for stealing the last election!~ Someone made a copy of this and posted it in the mess. It was ripped down by furious Secret Service agents who are even now dusting it for fingerprints but a number of people saw it and I suspect the same mischief-maker will put up another copy soon…

This afternoon, while schmoozing a minor aide, I saw a copy of a Pentagon memo concerning the forthcoming draft. I could not copy this and it took me about twenty minutes, in brief segments, to read it through. The White House and the Pentagon have worked out a plan to call up all reservists and National Guard units if and when Bush is reelected. The moment that the election results are poured in concrete, orders, now drawn up and waiting, will be issued throughout the United States. I am not speaking of a few units but all US Guard and Reserve units. On the same subject, the pending Universal Draft is also a done deal. Everything is place awaiting the President’s signature. This is planned for June of 2005 and contains some real shockers.

Women will be called up as well as men. There will be absolutely no deferments of any kind permitted. Persons with medical problems such as diabetes, cardio-vascular disease, chronic asthma, physical deformities such as a club foot or hunch back, vision problems, etc. will be called up!

If a draftee has a medical problem but can move around, they are subject to the draft but will be assigned to non-military positions such as clerk-typists, maintenance positions and so on. There will be absolutely no deferments for someone with a family to support or who is enrolled in any kind of a school. Students may be permitted to complete their semester and will then be compelled to report at once to their nearest enlistment center.

For example, as I read it, an 18 year old girl with two children and no husband to support her will be subject to the draft. There was a discussion about what to do with the children and if the family cannot raise them during the draftee’s tour of duty, then some kind of Federal Child Care center will have to suffice. The nominal ages covered are from 18 through 26 but a special exception is now in the orders for anyone with what the Army calls “technical skills” such as proficiency in computers, foreign language skills and so on. These poor jerks are subject to the draft until they are 35! Again, no deferments will be allowed unless the subject is already working for a government agency and is certified by his superiors as “vital” to whatever “war effort” the Army deems important.

These orders, note, came from the desk of George W. Bush to Rumsfeld but Bush will cite a vague“national crisis” to cover his useless ass. The top brass at the Pentagon are having fits about this. Why? Because for decades they have been downsizing, closing bases and so on. I have been told by Pentagon people that they would have no place to put the anticipated great flood of draftees if and when the draft is activated. One said to me, “Where the fuck do these dimbulbs expect us to house them? In local hotels?”

More grist for your mill. Great concern here about the terrible incident in Russia and the dead children. The people here are afraid that Putin will overreact and launch a punitive attack on the people who siezed the school. Putin is very tough and Bush and his people do not really like him. In the first place, Putin sabotaged US government and business attempts to get their hands on the Russian oil industry. The Oligarchy, mostly crooks like our very own Richard Perle, had their crooked hands on everything until Putin began to elbow them out of the picture. He wants Russian oil to remain in Russian hands and we do not. The CIA got through a regime change in Georgia that would make their territory available for oil pipelines controlled by US firms and then decided to grab up the Ukraine as well. Putin knows all about this and is not happy. The Bush people see Russia as a weak Third World country whose natural resources are rightfully theirs by right of being stronger. Bush does not like to be crossed so an aroused Putin throwing his military might around, so close to Iraq, causes them spastic colon. Bush said that he understood Putin’s soul and Putin thinks Bush is a madman….

There is an article a friend of mine was paid by the Administration to write to the effect that George Bush is really a brilliant man who carefully hides his great intellect behind the façade of a stupid, vicious person who is inarticulate and stupid. His Malapropisms are infamous but, this fellow is writing, this is only a front to let the American pubic realize that old George is as dumb as they are. The fact is, there is something physical wrong with Bush. Probably he fried his brains, what few he had, with coke and booze and is stumbling around like old Uncle Tim who is developing Alzheimer’s Disease. I have seen our Prez close up and believe me, there is something very weird about him. He can’t listen to anyone for more than ten minutes before his eyes get glassy and he starts to tell baseball stories. Rove is a fat, vicious asshole who would kick a pregnant woman in the belly if he thought it would get old Georgie reelected. Bush is a nut but Rove is a royal s.o.b.. Look what he tried to do to Kerry.

I spent several hours with one of our staff just returned from Iraq and got the following, really awful story from him. It appears that electricity is an on and off again matter in Baghdad. Also, note that it is very hot in Iraq this time of year. What does this have to do with anything? Just this. A GI gets killed here. Shot by an Arab. He lies around until someone can pick up the body and transport it to the centralized mortuary. Where it lies around until the corpse, or pieces of it, are identified. Then it does not go into a refrigerated area because there really isn’t one. The body goes into a rubber body bag and from that, into a steel military coffin which is neatly sealed shut. By this time, the occupant is pretty well gone off. My colleague tells me, and I hate to even think about it, that according to GI staff members, very often no one really knows what corpse is in what coffin. These are taken out to the Baghdad airport, put into unrefrigerated storage areas for shipment back to Dover. By the time the dead arrive in the States, they are very long gone and the coffins are shipped directly to the local mortuary where the deceased lived. Of course stateside, they are kept in the coolers but by that time, it is past necessity. Local morticians are given official strong suggestions that they not open the coffins and in most cases, they do not. In one case I was told of, the family wanted to put keepsakes in with their son and husband but when the box was opened, two of them fainted, the stench was so bad. It later turned out that instead of a Caucasian son, they had an African-American daughter to bury! The government apologized to the livid parents and will cut them a check. The family was told the U.S. military had no idea where their son and husband actually ended up. One of our sick editors asked his man from Baghdad if he got any pictures! Some people have no taste and I hope you are reading this!

No one with more than a 10 IQ believes that we have won in Iraq. We set up a government of handpicked Quislings (most of whom are being paid by the CIA) that are hated by the average Iraqi and the resistance is growing more proficient and worse every day. Senior officers are of the opinion that we ought to get out while we still can. It’s the general feeling that the sacred mosque under siege is going to be blown up, either by them on purpose or us by stupid accident. If and when that happens, holy hell will break loose amongst the Shiites and anti-US activity will really take off.

What did I tell you? The Democrats were outing Republican gays and threatening to go after gay members of Congress, both House and Senate. They started doing this, a lower level first with the understanding they would “move right up the ladder,” until they got into Bush’s top echelon of advisors. Rove, a nasty and vicious true Christian activist, then decided to show up the Democrats and his people set up and nailed the Democratic Governor of New Jersey. This was to be a two-pronged attack: First, humiliate the Governor and force him to either resign or pay off the Rove people (have to make it somewhere, buddy) and second, if he would not be blackmailed, to force him out before the November elections and rig an election so that the Republicans could have another state house. I said this would be very ugly before it was over. Rove himself is not gay but he has other personal habits that are probably much worse. Look for the Demos to nail Rove and remove him from Bush’s side.

Because it is known at the White House that I am Jewish, the following information was given to me by a sympathetic Christian lady. There is a so-called “think tank” called the American Enterprise Institute (AEI). It is very active in support of very right wing Israeli causes and is the breeding ground for many of the neo cons that direct US foreign policy. It is also considered an army of the Likud and very supportive of Ariel Sharon. AEI has been “funding” certain important Administration figures with large grants designed entirely to either buy their support for Likud activities or to keep them in line. For example, Cheney’s wife got a $125,000 “grant” from AEI and there are others. The Republicans, outraged that a number of prominent GOPs are being outed for homosexuality, have gotten a nice Jewish boy to out the Governor of New Jersey. If this mutual outing goes on, there will be many vacant seats in Congress, believe me. Billions of “aid” dollars and money supposedly held in trust over the sale of Iraqi oil has been looted by members of this Administration. I mean outrageous pocket stuffing.

A report, heavily classified and For Eyes Only (but Xeroxed) states that over a billion dollars has gone Dixie and there are questions about certain firms with specific connections to both Perle and Wolfowitz are front and center in the, never to go anywhere, investigation.

Remember that Bush favorite, Douglas Feith was charged with being an Israeli agent of influence and booted out of his sensitive position. He did return after Bush grabbed power. The Israeli’s have managed to get into a system called MAROON SHIELD that consists of Sensitive Compartmented Information on NSA and CIA functions and agents in the Middle East. This program includes Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) intelligence on NSA and CIA operations in the Middle East and around the world, including technical details of how the NSA intercepted microwave communications and information on the highly classified MAROON SHIELD satellite intelligence system.

Here are some bits of candy for you and your readers. You will be hearing much about certain “important terrorist revelations” allegedly obtained from the laptop of a “top alQuaeda” operative that was “captured” in Pakistan. Don’t believe any of it, children. One of my sources in the Monkey Palace has shown me an evaluation that states that all of this has been faked from old intercepts by the Special Collections Service in Beltsville, Maryland, who have faked other “Osama bin Laden tapes” This concocted “intelligence” was then stuck into a Dell laptop put together in Austin, Texas and sold to a reliable Pakistani stool pigeon. This has faked “Osama bin Laden” material on it and the White House has built a great propaganda campaign around it. The gist of the faked messages is that there will be an attack in the US just before the elections. Remember, you heard it here first!

Bush is desperate to find an excuse to postpone the election because the Monkey Palace’s private (and very accurate) polls show Bush below a 20% approval rating! In this election, the younger voters are very probably going to vote en bloc and be instrumental in booting the creep out. Bush and his people detest blacks, gays and any kind of liberal plus all Catholics. Karl Rove told a secretary that “all Catholic priests are a pack of queers” and referred to the Catholics as “mackerel snappers.” Wonderful! I wonder what they have to say about us Jews? While on the subject of electronic matters, I suppose you know that the US, through NSA, electronically tracks all prominent heads of state from France, Germany, Russia, England, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Iran, Turkey, Spain and Canada and monitors all of their personal and governmental conversations. Speaking of the NSA, they are supposed to maintain and monitor spy satellites that dot the skies. Fact is that due to carelessness and general inefficiency, most of these surveillance satellites are totally inoperative between 50 to 75% of the time and many countries know exactly when a spy satellite is due to pass overhead (because the Russians know the tracks and have passed this information out to certain putative Putin allies [pun intended]) so hide things until they are out of range. Another multi-billion boondoggle shoved off on the public. The fact that the satellites were not working is the reason that the Indian and Pakistani A bomb tests were not observed. Wonderful how They are Protecting us!

This is going to be the filthiest Presidential campaign in history, bar none. We get serious “pep talks” from mid-level and even senior White House staff members. Most of these are sick, vicious people who are like the type Hitler loved. (A nice nickname in my newsroom for the Prez is ‘Adolf Bush.’ My senior editor said, ‘Hitler had his Poland and Bush has his Iraq.”) Bush started out filled with arrogance but now he and his boys are running very scared. Real, not faked, polls show him with a below 20% approval rating! They are going to put out a release on Kerry claiming his dad was CIA (which he was) and then tie this to the 9/11 intelligence failings. Remember the Robert Hansen case? The senior FBI official who worked for the Russians? You may not know this but Hansen was the top FBI computer man with access to all the US intelligence systems. He spied on DIA, CIA, the Pentagon, the White House, of course the FBI and a host of other agencies tied in to the DoJ computer system. He became a good personal friend of Judge Freeh which caused that worthy to take a very early retirement. Believe me, this man knew everything, I mean everything, and passed it all on to the Russians. And did you know that the Russians sold him back to the US for double what they had paid him over the years? The CIA bribed an SVR official to give them the dirt on H. just to embarrass the FBI (who had in turn embarrassed them over Ames) If the Company hadn’t done this, H. would still be draining away all of our top secret data and passing it to Moscow. The FBI had no intentions of “outing” him because of the embarrassment and in-house efforts to track down a suspected more were severely discouraged by Freeh himself!

These people all hate each other and are not, repeat not, going to work together. They have told Bush to fx*! off with his “Intelligence Czar” nonsense and that will go nowhere, believe me. Beltway turf wars are bloodier than the Tarawa campaign and there are no prisoners taken. The CIA is threatening to release the bank account information (the black accounts, not the white ones) of top Bush people who have hundreds of millions of stolen bucks stashed in Swiss and offshore banks. The price of silence on this fun and games is to give up any idea, genuine or not, of revamping the Intelligence community. On the other hand, several other alphabet agencies are planning to ambush senior CIA operatives with really nasty leakage. Murders and drug connections are prominent.

Someone with CIA -connections is now “outing” gay Republicans in public and this is causing spastic colon here. So many “straight” and respectable men are trembling in their clubs now. There are more practicing gays among the Republicans than there are in the entire Frisco Castro district and that is saying something. Bush &Co had better be careful about their pit bull attacks on Kerry because that is a sword that cuts both ways. I will send you under separate cover a list of the bank accounts. Everyone is leaking everything now and it’s a reporter’s paradise on earth. The barn is on fire and the frantic rats are biting each other trying to escape! More info about Ashcroft’s desire to put us all in camps for “reeducation as loyal Americans and true Christians.” I mentioned Ashcroft’s “ideas” about “neutralizing” evil influences in the United States. Here is more. Special U.S. Army units are trained for putting down any kind of civil insurrection. These units are small, very well-equipped and are considered to be the most elite units the Army now possesses. They have not seen any foreign combat duty: They are designed solely as domestic control units. I can give you some interesting specifics and there is a lot more where this comes from.

There are centers around the United States where these units are based. For instance, Rock Island Arsenal in Illinois is one such base. These units have an interesting form of rapid deployment command centers. These consist of what appear to be commercial tractor trailers with such things as the names of well-known moving van companies, or other major corporations such as Wal-Mart or Radio Shack on the sides. These units are not for transporting goods but are prefab command centers. The special units can move these via the highways in perfect safety from a base of operations to a “hot” area where “domestic terrorists” might be operating. These “domestic terrorists” might be peace groups, irate farmers, angry union workers and so on. The mobile command centers move into an area disguised, as I have said, like standard commercial vehicles. Then, when a defense perimeter has been established, the units are put together in squares, four to a side, and these are, in turn, linked together, forming a large, fully-equipped Army center, complete with all electronic gear needed to supervise the command of troops that will be airlifted into the secured area by helicopters. Targets in the “main areas of resistance” will have been identified previously and the incoming troops will be directed to these areas, preferably at night. I want to point out that there are sixteen such bases throughout the United States to include Hawaii but not Alaska. There are standing orders on file, and some have been leaked, as to how to deal with “civil disobedience” in general. Specific orders about individual targets are prepared on an as-needed basis.

Also, “Regional Detention Centers” have been designated and prepared for use if and when they are needed. These lie in remote areas such as northern Maine, west Texas, New Mexico, Arizona, Montana and eastern Washington state. There are eleven such Regional Detention Centers now prepared for immediate use with prefab barracks, wire perimeters and military positions constructed on any approaches to these very easily supervised camps. Urban areas have been excluded from this program because civilians are under no circumstances to be aware of their existence nor will access from the civilian sector be easy or permitted. (Here, I am quoting from an official overview but minus the weird military terminology) I may move to Israel if this keeps up! Now in all objectivity, merely setting these things up does not mean they will be used…but they can if the circumstances warrant it and Ashcroft and other are bending the President’s ear about this. Not everyone is happy about this sort of thing and probably the strongest detractors are, oddly enough, the professional military. That is why Bush is having so much friction with the Pentagon people and others. I am sure Powell doesn’t know about this or he would resign. There are many decent men among the military and a very significant number of the senior ones do not like Bush. For one thing, having a Commander in Chief who was a chronic drunk and druggie does not go over very well and Bush has not been making things easier by hectoring and harassing his senior military people. Right now they are complaining but that may change. So might the presidency if it keeps up.

First there was your posting of my notes on our sick President and then Capitol Hill Blue just did another number on the same theme. You can imagine the mess around the Monkey Palace today! Now, it appears that there are at least three stool pigeons loose here and they have brought in the FBI and the Secret Service to do damage control. Bush is almost literally foaming, Karl Rove and other great lights are threatening the Patriot Act against anyone who is caught! “This is a wartime Presidency and anyone passing out secrets will be charged!” is the word. All phones are tapped now and all laptops are rudely grabbed and checked for notes, harmless secretaries are bullied and threatened with lie detector tests. In fact, the Head Monkey now want all White House personnel given lie detector tests every week! You can imagine how good this is for morale! Iraq is a mess; Powell says we are in it to stay and that is not a good omen for the November elections. Brother Jeb is setting up another fraud in Florida even though the major media is being very informative. They do not care around here. Legal or illegal, if it will get Bush elected again and guarantee all of them their power-trip jobs, everything and anything goes. Believe me, I know many of the lesser ones around here and the Capitol Hill reportage is accurate and devastating to the entire staff. I understand they are really going in for the lie detector scam and have set up a room in the basement just for this. I am told they are warning the staff that they either take tests or get fired with vague but sinister warnings about violations of national security and long stretches in cells at Atlanta for those who won’t make things easy and confess. I and others are not employees and my editor says if they even try that with us, the media will rise up in a body and hang Bush on a White House tree!”

July 30, 2004 “A junior staffer told me this one. It seems her daughter had been injured in a car accident. It was nothing serious and she told no one here about it. One of the senior staff came into her office and asked how her daughter was doing. The woman had only once mentioned this and that on her office telephone to her sister. She compared notes with others and discovered that all incoming and outgoing routine calls are taped and monitored. Ashcroft has been suggesting to the President that somehow the dissident voices in this country need to be silenced. Ashcroft in conjunction with Army Military Police units have prepared a scenario about how to clamp down iron controls here. I have seen a copy of this, which has not been adopted but it does show a mind-set. Certain internet sites should be closed down. These are sites that actively promote : anti-Bush remarks or support abortion, “globalism,” “secular humanism,” “Satanism,” homosexuality, anti-Semitism, or that are anti-Christian, or pro-Muslim and who are critical of such Republican luminary nuts as Tom DeLay and Ashcroft himself. The arrest and expulsion of all Muslim residents of the United States including Americans who may have converted is a strong Ashcroft suggestion. Ashcroft views the Muslim faith as “Satanic” and “evil” and claims that the expulsion of these people will “start the healing processes in America.” Ashcroft strongly dislikes African-Americans as well but there is nothing about putting them back in the cotton fields or deporting them. As a Jew, I was delighted to see that Jews would be tolerated and encouraged but with the understanding that they would all convert to Christianity within a given period of time.

Maybe Bush and Ashcroft will take a page from Hitler and make all Muslims wear a yellow crescent on their coats! This has very serious implications for me especially as a Jew whose grandparents were harassed and chased out of Germany in 1936, Do you realize that these people are stone nuts? That the President is a nasty, pill-popping sick man who hates everyone and especially anyone who dares to criticize him or any of his policies? At one time, and I have been a witness to this, Bush could be very outgoing and pleasant with staff but not now. Mean looking and snappish with everyone, he uses really filthy language to express his anger. He makes obscene gestures, curses in a loud voice, slams doors, throws books and, once, a paperweight from his desk at a clerk. (He missed) He gobbles pills like Rush Limbaugh and I suspect he is numb most of the time now. The slippery staff’s well-oiled machine is starting to make weird noises and Bush cannot tolerate this. "You told me this would work! Goddam it, you fucked up, you asshole! Get with it or get out!” This nice bit I have on tape.

Old Georgie was never too well-wrapped but it was kept quiet. Now that the pressure is really on him and he is beginning to realize that large numbers of Americans actually distrust and dislike him, he was first shocked and later enraged. This man does not belong with the nuclear football anywhere near him. He is basically unbalanced and under so much pressure that God knows what he might do. A young secretary told me that one minute she has seen Bush very smooth, very friendly and very much collected and then, for absolutely no reason she could see, turn instantly into a nasty, shouting man who got very threatening and abusive to a military officer whom, she said, was very correct and polite. This frightened her, the suddenness of it, and what was worse, he suddenly switched back to being a friendly man again. This is not normal behavior. I asked her if the Army colonel had been abusive in any way and she said that he certainly had not and she was ten feet away when Bush suddenly started yelling curses. She said there was nothing to explain this and that she never saw a person explode in that way and then go right back to regular conversation just as if he had not called a professional military officer an “asshole” and a “motherfucker” in front of others. The Colonel got very red in the face but said nothing. No one is allowed to ever talk about these eruptions which senior staff put down, in public at least, to the “President’s extreme concerns for the safety of the American people.

I have several interesting bits for you and your readers. Never mind the Democratic Convention or the 9-11 Report. The military adventures of King George are really a lot more important. There is no question that Bush wants to attack (read ’neutralize’) both North Korea and Iran. The press has been publishing stories about how Iran supported bin Laden and how North Korea has rejected the attempts of the peace-loving Bush to mediate the problems existing between the two countries. Nothing could be further from the truth, believe me. The spin people are now passing out press releases about this, trying to damp it down and prevent pre-emptive strikes by our new victims. A very secret report is floating around about the serious problems with our commercial shipping ports. According to this, over nine million cargo containers arrive in the States every year and the much-vaunted but entirely useless Homeland Security geeks can only examine about 2% of these. Much propaganda and bs about how our ever vigilant boys are searching everything to protect us. This report says that a freighter full of dirty bombs could sail into Baltimore, Norfolk, New York, San Diego, San Francisco or Seattle and explode on cue and there is not a damned thing our security people could do about it. In fact, the first thing these guys would know was when the walls of their offices blew in and they were deposited twenty miles away, well-done. The 9-11 report is fine, as far as it goes but no one here expects anything to be done. None of the alphabet agencies will give up any power and Bush is not the man to force a reorganization through. Oh yes, he will bleat about it for a while but in the end, they will all go back to their turf wars and someday, Boston will glow green, what’s left of it.

And another thing. The Bush brothers are bold as brass. The talk here is that Florida will be the leader in vote stealing again but I think that this time, the public is well aware of their tricks last time and Bush and company had better be very careful to walk right down the middle of the road or some large and angry mob will shove him into the ditch in bits and pieces. The Fahrenheit movie has taken in over a hundred millions bucks but the Bush toadies in the media claim that it won’t influence the elections at all. These thick heads need a wake up call with a sledge hammer.

The real polls, and most of them are faked just for the folks at home, show Bush about to take a Carter-like bath but the bully boys with the crosses on their coats stick their fingers in their hairy ears and whistle ‘Rock of Ages’ while trotting by the cemetery. And here is a lovely bit of news you will not hear on FOX, or CNN either. It seems the Iranians, determined to put a stop to American imperialism, have determined to grab off all the area’s oil. They are behind the attacks in Iraq and are now holding very private talks with the Wahhabists of Saudi Arabia. Purpose? To encourage and finance the overthrow of the Saud dynasty in that country and to replace it with a fundamentalists government, so hostile to the US that it will cut off all oil. This is known to a number of people. My sources are: A friend of my cousin who was Special Forces once and is now a Blue Dragon man and head of personal security for several Saudi rebels. Also, a Russian colleague with connections completely confirmed this and neither know each other. They could hold a public meeting with big signs and a hired band, in the lobby of the Hay-Adams for all the notice the CIA would take of it. This is true economic warfare and all of us will really suffer if they are successful.

The brass here is delighted that they were able to arm-twist a compliant Congress into postponing the release of a Congressional report on who knew what and when until after the election. Their aim is to throw just enough doubt into the very valid belief that George W. Bush was given false information about WMD to influence the undecided voter [both of them]. This is pure crap and everyone around here knows it. Bush demanded “any information” that would bolster his drive to war and refused to accept anything less. George W., by the way, is the source for the miserable tortures in Iraqi jails. It went from Bush, who wanted wholesale shootings of prisoners, through Rumsfeld, who toned it down, to the troops. Both of these jokers are guilty as hell of fostering a deliberate U.S. policy of violations of the Geneva Convention. Their rationale? We are all-powerful and no one will dare to contradict us.

Also, they believe, the American people are divided into two distinct groups: the Good People who are all ultra right wingers, the Jesus freaks who are insane and the business world that expects complete support from Bush. [In exchange for huge bribes] And then there is the other side, the Bad People, composed, as they see it, of Muslims, queers, left wing idiots, niggers (oh yes, that word is occasionally heard in the Monkey Palace), sociopaths, secular humanists, Catholics, feminists and anyone and any group that does not realize that George W. Bush was called to the Monkey Palace by God Almighty and who serves at God’s personal command. Anyone, they reason (!) that questions Bush, Cheney, Rove and a legion of the damned, questions God and for that reason, must be put into camps, reeducated and disenfranchised.

If you think this is some kind of rant, believe me, I hear it almost every day. And anyone who does not believe me, ought to see our beloved Prez shuffling around here, eyes glaring and mouth turned down to realize that his not-so-secret plans for the rest of us would make Hitler look like Mother Teresa. One of the outraged staffers said this morning that ‘Bush is a man against whom God has witnessed.’ One of Bush’s less appealing traits is his refusal to admit that he was wrong. Bush is a chronic and dismal failure, even now. He was a failure in school, in business, in the military [where he was 86’ed from flying because of his public use of drugs and alcohol, and in his personal life. Now that he claims to have found God, he cannot be wrong on anything. If he actually came to grips with the very obvious fact that his entire life was a study in failure and rejection, he would probably slip his rail and be found talking to himself in his Fuhrerbunker.
